1. Indian Music Theory – Introduction To Instruments.
Introduction to instruments,its structure, origin and aspects. introduction to notation system. Learning notation reading. Getting familiar with scale, octave & other musical symbols.
2. Introduction To Swara & Alankar.
Introduction to Shuddha swara and swara alankar. Understanding komal & tivra swara, swara & alankar practice using tanpura.
3. Learning Techniques of Practice.
From selection of a song to listening and understanding musical aspects. Understanding the notations and practicing songs with & without music to correct the mistakes.
4. Introduction to beat & rhythm.
Introduction to rhythm along with laya and taal. Understanding beat and ways to perfect the beat. Practicing on beat, off beat, quarter beat, one third beat along with taal and laya.
5. Breathing & Sound Techniques.
Learning sound related entities such as sound throw, sound projection, sound volume. Understanding the techniques to pronounce words properly and practicing the techniques.
6. The Art of Listening.
Listening to types of music we are learning, Listening to different genre of songs such as classical raga, gazal, pop, jazz, etc to identify different musical aspects and understanding them to learn while one listens.
7. Preparation of Songs.
Learning to 10 different songs from a list which contain old & new songs, on & off beat songs & karaoke track based songs. Preparing two different songs with perfection.
8. Practice Sessions.
Revision of all the learnt entities and practicing to excel the knowledge learnt.
9. Performing Songs.
Performing chosen songs keeping every musical aspect in mind on zoom or similar platform. One song with or without music while other with karaoke track.
