1. Indian Music Theory – Introduction To Instuments.

Introduction to instrument, it’s structure, origin and other aspects. Introduction to Pt. Bhatkhande notation system. Learning notation reading, understanding shuddha, komal, tivra swara, Getting familiar with scale, octave & other musical symbols.

2. Learning Shuddha Swara, Alankar, Saragam Dhoon.

Learning & practicing shuddha swara. Understanding 7 basic alankar with laya & taal. Learning saragam dhoon with keherva taal.

3. Introduction To Basic Classical Raga.

Introduction and learning about raga, different aspects such as aroh, avroh, pakad, saragam geet.

4. Introduction to Bhajan & Bhaktigeet.

Introductory information about bhajan & bhaktigeet. Understanding them through geet such as achyutam keshavam, Payoji maine, Shri Krishna goinda, He ram he ram.

5. Learning About Bollywood Music.

Introduction to bollywood music and understanding it’s different aspects through any two bollywood songs.

6. Learning National Songs.

Learning the National Anthem of India along with Vande mataram song.

7. Learning Abhanga & Natyageet.

Introduction to abhang & natyageet. Learning related information through Abhang such as Abir gulal, Vithu mauli tu and Natyageet Jay shankara.

8. Learning About Laya & Taal.

Introductory information about laya. Understanding beats, practicing laya & learning about taal with its types such as dadra, keherva, bhajani theka, teentaal.

9. The Art of Listening & Practice Session.

Listening to all music like raga, bhajan-bhaktigeet, abhang, natyageet, Bollywood songs, etc in order to identify different musical aspects so one learns while he listens. Practicing alankar, saragam dhoon, bhajan-bhaktigeet, Bollywood songs, national songs, abhang –natyageet, laya & taal. Preparing for exam.

10. Theory & Exam Preparation.

Theoretical knowledge of raga such as vadi-samvadi, jati, shuddha, komal, tivra swara along with taal information like sam, kal, khanda, etc. Also information about bhajan, natyageet, Bollywood songs, etc.
