1. Indian Music Theory – Introduction To The Notation System.
Introduction to notation system. Learning notation reading. Getting familiar with scale, octave & other musical symbols.
2. Learning Omkar Sadhana & Shuddha Swara.
Learning right technique to sing omkar properly, practicing omkar with tanpura, practicing omkar with different swara. Practicing swara with tanpura and understanding & practicing seven shuddha swara.
3. Understanding Basic Alankar & Swara Palate.
Understanding 10 swara alankar with laya and taal, learning swara combinations. Getting familiar with sargam dhoon with keherva taal & shuddha swara palate.
4. Introduction To Laya.
Introduction of laya & techniques to develop laya. metronome practicing to perfect the beat. Practicing laya.
5. Learning Basic Classical Raga.
Introduction to 2 basic classical raga and it’s information such as aroh, avroh, pakad, sargam bandish with taal.
6. Learninng Bhajan.
Learning seven different bhajan. Complete learning of a chosen bhajan with musical knowledge. Preparing a bhajan of your choice such as rama bhajan, Krishna bhajan, mira bhajaan, etc.
7. The Art of Listening.
Listening to bhajan types that we are learning. Listening bhajan and other types of music to understand different musical aspects and learning to identify them.
8. Introduction To Taal.
Introduction to taal and related information. Understanding tali and different taal such as taal dadra, keherva, bhajan theka, zaptaal, etc.
9. Practice Sessions.
Revising each of learnt aspect through different techniques such as music games to correct the mistakes and learning better.
10. Performing a Bhajan.
Performing chosen bhajan keeping every musical aspect in mind on zoom or similar platform.
