Cajon
Cajon is a box shaped percussion instrument that is played by tapping the front and rear surfaces by hands. Besides hands, the tapping is even done by fingers, brushes and sticks at times to bring rich variations in the audio. This instrument belongs to the family of drums and is used in a variety of concerts and performances. Though a Cajon was invented in late 1800s the instrument is still popular and widely used because of its rich sound. Since it is an easy to learn instrument, it is popular among people of almost all age groups who understand basic percussion beats.
